AGV Pavilion


The “International Automated Guided Vehicles Pavilion”, AGV Pavilion in abbreviation, is a designated exhibition area especially for automated guided vehicles at CeMAT ASIA, the biggest logistics fair in China. It is an innitiation under the cooperation between Hannover Fairs International GmbH, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lothar Schulze, Department Planning and Controlling of Warehouses and Transport Systems, Leibniz University Hannover, UBS GmbH and the University of Applied Science Ostwestfalen-Lippe.

The Program for the international AGV Pavilion at the CeMAT ASIA 2016 is finished.

International Automated Guided Vehicle Pavilion is an exhibition area with integrated AGV Forum at CeMAT ASIA since 2008. After 8 year’s success, International Automated Guided Vehicle Pavilion is continuously organized by Mr. Prof. L. Schulze from Leibniz University Hannover, Germany, and Ms. Prof. L. Li from OWL University of Applied Sciences, Germany, this year. International AGV Pavilion has been growing together with CeMAT ASIA since the first appearance.

As the first show in the field of AGV at exhibition, AGV Pavilion at CeMAT ASIA has more or less driven the development of AGV business in China, and will continue this mission in 2016 and in the future. In fact, the exhibitors are the contributors especially for the technical development of automated guided vehicles.

This year, there are altogether 12 AGV producers and suppliers attending AGV Pavilion as exhibitors, with an exhibition area of almost 400 sqm in all. The exhibitors are AGV producers or providers such as ALSCO, CoTEK and Suzhou AGV Robot from China, JBT Corporation from Thailand, Egemin from Belgium, EK AUTOMATION and SEW from Germany.

The exhibitors are AGV key-components suppliers such as Conductix, Schabmüller and Wittenstein from Germany, and Kollmorgen from Sweden.

The Advantages of International AGV Pavilion

The Pavilion is the central meeting point at CeMAT ASIA in Shanghai for everyone, who is willing to increase the potentials of material handling in production and logistics. Therefore the focus is on automation by using Automated Guided Vehicle Systems, short for AGV Systems. AGV manufacturers, suppliers and logistic planers are invited to exhibit the products and services at the pavilion with the following advantages:

The Development of International AGV Pavilion













The AGV Pavilion was firstly organized and realized at CeMAT ASIA 2008. The exhibition area was about 60 square meters in its starting year. To 2015, the Chinese year of sheep, the size of the pavilion has grown more than four times comparing to 2008, the Chinese mouse year. It is now the booming time for AGV applications in China.

Till now 20 companies from Asia, Europe and North America have used AGV Pavilion as the platform for the Chinese market.
